JAZZ WITH NORDIC ROOTS
The Swedish born jazz musician and trumpet player Björn Atle Anfinsen started playing the trumpet from a very early age. After finishing school, he obtained his bachelor degree at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm before going on to complete his master degree at the esteemed Hamburg University of Music and Theatre in Germany in 2022.
Over the last few years he’s worked together with critically acclaimed musicians such as Nils Landgren, Magnus Lindgren, Rasmus Faber.
In 2017 he released his debut EP ”Fragment” at the record label Stockholm Jazz Records.
He has performed around in Europe and South Africa, both as a soloist and band member in different genres such as jazz, pop, rock and improvisation.

NORDIC INFLUENCES
During his studies at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre he developed an interest in electro-acoustic music. With his ensemble, the "Björn Atle Anfinsen Trio", he develops and performs original compositions that combine music genres such as rock, nordic jazz and improvisation.
